Java is a set of technologies and products that allow for the development of software (computer systems) for diverse platforms (Windows, Linux, etc.) and many different kinds of hardware (personal computers, large mainframes, mobile phones, handhelds, etc.).

Java is my language and platform of choice for most software projects. I’m a Java developer since 1999, specialized in Web Application development. I’m currently not certified, but hopefully will be in the near future.
